The Billy Bites family business began when Billy, his wife Selena and their twin boys, Matthew and Alexander, moved back to the UK after eight years running a traditional taverna together in Crete, Greece. 'Maistrali Restaurant' was based a few metres from the sea in the beautiful resort of Stalis.
After many successful seasons of serving up traditional homemade food along with excellent customer service, the family decided to return to England so the boys could attend school. They came back to the picturesque town of Hexham in Northumberland and opened Billy Bites in the summer of 2013.
At Billy Bites we want to to remind you of the tastes and memories you enjoyed on holiday, the mouthwatering gyros pittas, sizzling souvlakis and fresh crispy Greek salads, along with comforting snacks and dishes that will really hit the spot...
